This has all the makings of a CJFL classic in just Week 2 as the Island Rivalry meets for the 25th time.  The VI Raiders have owned the Westshore Rebels, winning all 24 previous match-ups and outscoring them by over 500 points.

That said, there is a real sense of balance coming into this weekend at Westhills Stadium.  Both teams are 1-0, both put up over 35 points and each defence created opportunities by forcing turnovers.

Kick-off on Saturday is set for 7:00pm and fans from across Vancouver Island will be watching with vested interest as the Rebels host the Raiders.
