The CJFL announces 13 Defensive All-Canadians

The Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) is proud to announce the Defensive Jostens/CFL All-Canadians for the 2014 season.

The BCFC have seven All-Canadians for most the CJFL.

In total there are 13 Defensive All-Canadians and one Return Specialist All-Canadian.

Defensive Line
Alex Agnoletto – Langley Rams – 23 tackles, 15 assists, 4 sacks
Zac Ironstand – Okanagan Sun - 12 tackles, 5 assists, 6 sacks, 1 knockdown, 1 fumble recovery
Matt Kozun – Saskatoon Hilltops – 7 tackles, 5 assists, 15 sacks, 2 knockdowns, 1 fumble recovery
Dylan Roper – Langley Rams - 11 tackles, 7 assists, 10 sacks*, 1 knockdown, 2 forced fumbles

Linebackers
Dylan Chapdelaine – Vancouver Island Raiders (second consecutive year) – 42 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery
Justin Filteau – Saskatoon Hilltops – 37 tackles, 20 assists*, 1 knockdown, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, 2 interceptions
Jakub Jakoubek – Calgary Colts – 45 tackles*, 16 assists, 4 knockdowns, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 touchdown, 2 interceptions

Defensive Backs
Brooks Falloon – Winnipeg Rifles - 33 tackles, 4 assists, 1 fumble recovery, 3 interceptions
Vince Greco – Calgary Colts - 17 tackles, 4 assists, 1 knockdown, 1 fumble recovery, 2 interceptions, 1 touchdown
Braeden Swatez – Westshore Rebels - 21 tackles, 8 assists, 3 knockdowns, 7 interceptions*, 1 forced fumble, 3 rumble recoveries
Brennan Van Nistelrooy – Okanagan Sun (second consecutive year) – 24 tackles, 1 sack, 2 blocked kicks, 3 knockdowns, 2 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery
Robbie Yochim – Okanagan Sun - 34 tackles, 4assists,  1 blocked kick, 1 forced fumble,  4 interceptions, 1 touchdown

Punter
Brad Mikoluff – Winnipeg Rifles - 63 punts, 2,082 net yards, 33.5 net average

Return Specialist
Robbie Yochim – Okanagan Sun - 33 punt returns, 685 yards*, 20.8 average per return, 4 touchdowns.  14 kick-off returns, 603 yards, 43.1 average per return* and 2 touchdowns

The CJFL Major Award winners will be announced on Friday November 7, 2014 during the Canadian Bowl Banquet of Champions.

The 2014 Canadian Bowl will kick-off Saturday November 8, 2014 at 1:00pm at McLeod Stadium in Langley, BC.
